Before Play
1. Prior to each session, Belfast Bingo will ensure that all gaming equipment is fully functional.
2. Before each game begins, the Caller will:
• Announce which bingo card is in play.
• Confirm which pattern (line, lines, full house or other combination) must be completed to win a prize.
3. On entry, you will be provided with your bingo cards and pen.
During Play
4. Each number will be selected at random using a Random Number Generator (RNG) or a Bingo Ball Wheel. Players must clearly mark their cards so they are legible and verifiable.
5. Numbers called will also appear on the indicator boards. If there is a discrepancy between the Caller’s voice and the board, the RNG output (shown on the Caller’s screen) will always take priority.
6. Requests for a re-check of numbers must be made before 10 further numbers have been called, or before a single line has been verified — whichever comes first.
Stopping the Game
7. A number is considered officially “called” once the Caller has begun announcing it. The winning card must include the last number called as part of the announced winning sequence.
8. No Claims will be accepted for a line or two lines once the next number has been called. No Claims will be accepted for a full house once the Caller resets the RNG for the next game.
9. It is the responsibility of the player to stop the game by shouting clearly and loudly on their winning number. Failure to do so will render the Claim invalid.
10. Prizes will only be awarded to the player who is in possession of the winning card and who stopped the game.
Claiming the Prize
11. To validate a Claim, the player must present their winning bingo book.
12. Belfast Bingo reserves the right to request valid ID. If not provided within 5 minutes (unless special circumstances apply), the prize will be forfeited.
13. The Caller will verify and announce the decision. If a Claim is rejected, the reason will be explained.
14. In the event of multiple winners, a dance-off, sing-off, or similar fun competition will decide the final prize winner.
15. If a technical malfunction results in duplicate books or multiple identical Claims, the declared prize will be shared equally.
16. Employees of Belfast Bingo are not permitted to play at their venue of employment.
Game Summary
• Each game consists of 6 houses, with 3 horizontal lines per house.
• First Prize: One line (all numbers in a single horizontal row). Shout “BINGO!” clearly to claim.
• Second Prize: Two lines within the same house. Again, shout “BINGO!” to claim. For one and two lines, the first verified caller wins.
• Third Prize: Full House (all 3 lines in a single house). If multiple players claim, they will be invited on stage for a fun competition (usually a dance-off, sing-off, or musical statues) to determine the winner.
Prize Draw (Selected Events)
17. On entry, you may be given a free prize draw ticket.
18. At the end of selected games, a ticket will be drawn. The matching ticket holder will be invited on stage to answer a question.
19. If they answer correctly, they win the designated cash prize. If not, the prize rolls over to the next round.
20. Winners must provide the following details to staff:
• Full name
• Postcode
• Signature
• Prize amount won
